personal response - super diaper baby 2

genre: humor, I think this book is humor because it is a very funny gross book

Summary: all the toilets get stolen by the potty snatchers and everyone has to pee in a pool. then the cat absorbs all of his body but on drip. then the cat flings him in too the pool of pee and he turns massive!

if i could be one character in this book i would be the dog becuase he has super powers and he can talk

Caesar the war dog operation blue dragon - personal response

Genre: adventure i think this book is adventure because they travel all around Afghanistan.

Summary: charlie doesn't need Caesar any more for a care dog so now Caesar is back with Ben doing his work. the Taliban kidnap the secretary general. will they find him. Caesar and Ben go on another journey.

Question: if i could be any character in the book i would be Ben because he gets to detect bombs with Caesar.

WALT: measure area and perimeter of rectangles

Activity 1
1. You will need your maths books to do these questions.
a. Draw a rectangle, 1 cm wide and 9 cm long and label the length and width. Call this rectangle (A). Record the length, width, perimeter, and area of rectangle (a) in the chart below.

b. Draw another rectangle on the grid paper and label it rectangle (B). To make rectangle (B), increase the width of rectangle (A) by 1 cm and decrease the length of rectangle (A) by 1 cm. Record the length, width, perimeter, and area of rectangle (B) in the chart below.

c. Continue increasing 1 cm to the width and decreasing 1 cm from the length. Draw and label each new rectangle and record the length, width, perimeter, and area of each rectangle in the chart below.
