t4 week 5 reflection

this week we have been working on titanic here is a what happened when it sunk.

When the titanic sunk it made a strong current going towards the sea bed. This caused a lot of the people that were still on the boat to get sucked so deep that they drowned. The survival rate was very low; only %25 of the crew and 3rd class survived, %42 of second class and %60 percent of first class. That is just 31.6 percent of the people on the ship survived,

unfinished writing

Introduction:
Everyone has different ways they like to treat their friends, This is my explanation about what i think makes someone a good friend
Topic sentence:a good friend will respect you and you respect them back.
So you can't call them names or hurt them. To be a good friend you need to trust them with your secrets and then they will trust you with theirs. A good friend won't tell anyone.

If your friend is getting bullied Stand up for them don't just watch. If you are having a birthday party don't leave them out,so include them in all the activities you do.

If your friend is being mean to you and be honest and tell them to change, If they don't you might not want to be friends with them anymore. Also don't lie to your friend then you will lose trust.

Topic sentence: a good friend will hang out with you.

It is always a good idea to have fun with your friend and maybe; go to the movies, go mountain biking; go to the pool; take them on a road trip or just play in the same sports team as them.

lifecycle of a frog
Female frogs lay up to 1000 eggs at once
These eggs have a protective layer of jelly like liquid to protect them from predators which surrounds a little black dot. This black dot contains lots of frog cells which multiply and grow to form a tadpole. This takes from 3 - 25 days, This depends on the species and the water temperature. The eggs vary in colours and size also depending on the species. When these hatch they attach themselves to weed in the water.

Once they grow to tadpoles they detach from the weed and start to swim
The tadpoles don't look like frogs yet, They look like little fish. These tadpoles have a tail and gills which they use to breath thru underwater. The tadpoles eat small plants in the water. The tadpoles have lots of predators so they have to rellie on her camouflage body to protect them. Not many tadpoles grow to frogs because of predators.

Topic Sentence 1:An engine is made up of many parts which rely on each other to work, the main engine is the power source.

This makes a mini explosion that pushes the piston down which makes the crankshaft spin around. Then the spark plug ignites fuel again exc, exc. Which when the crankshaft spins it also spins the front sprocket which powers the chain to spin the back sprocket that spins the back wheel.
Topic Sentence 2: Things you can do to get more power out of your engine

The washing machine started eating the clothes
And the fridge was running away
The oven ate the roast
And the chairs said haaayyy

My bed swallowed the pillows and blankets
And the wood ate the hatchets
The tap drunk all the water
And the cupboard ate all the food

The tv ate the remote
And the hose flooded the neighborhood
The car set afloat

And thats the end of that

rugby poem
The ball flying through the air,
MINE! I shout as the ball drops thru the air.

I get my hand ready as I crouch below the ball,
The ball makes contact with my hands as I grab the ball wrapping my arms around it.

The ball lands in my hands softly as I start to run.

I hit the other team go down, place the ball back as the rush of the forwards defend the ball, blocking the enemy.

fishing

curious cove fishing
The blazing sun shone down on my rod as we move towards the reef. I was standing on the front of the boat letting my line drop to the bottom as he honks the horn to start. I feel the sinker hit the bottom and I flick the brake on and tension my line. I feel fish biting my bait then I feel adrenaline as something tugs on my line, I reel in as the fish pulls against my line. I reel up pulling the fish  up on the boat, the blue cod rigged as we try to take the hook out of its mouth.
